We need an interaction designer to help a short project

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Uncategorized

If you've enjoyed reading about how we design at GDS, we have a project that needs immediate help. Maybe you can help.

The Dart Charge is a payment scheme for the Dartford Crossing. We need a designer capable of quickly creating rapid prototypes using HTML, CSS3 and bits of Javascript. It's a 1 month assignment.

We need you to work closely with a user researcher to iterate on the prototype before and after user research sessions. The developed prototype will be used as the blueprint for the production website.

Ideally candidate should have previous experience working as a designer with awareness of GDS patterns, guidelines and way of working - we design in code - or be able to adopt these methods of working quickly.

Update: it looks like this short term role has been filled, but other roles appear frequently. If you are an interaction designer interested in working for GDS check out this blog post and follow the UK Gov Digital Jobs twitter feed.
